The Nominating Committee consists of Joy Cousminer, Chair, Ken Small and Connie Eng.

In accordance with our bylaws, Bethex does not accept nominations from the floor. Instead, we require that anyone wishing to run for a seat on the Board must first serve on a committee or provide some regular volunteer service to the credit union. The reason for this is to ensure that the new Board members will have knowledge of the credit union and a proven interest in serving.

Any member wishing to serve on a committee or in some other volunteer capacity is encouraged to do so. Call the office during the week and speak with Joy Cousminer. Tell her the time you have available, and she will offer you a choice of projects.

This year, one incumbent, Anna Mae Brown has agreed to serve another 3-year term, expiring in the year 2005.

Marc Diaz, Miriam Fernandez, Sarah Starbuck and Awilda Velez have been serving as appointees of the Board completing the unexpired terms of previous Board members. Marc Diaz will serve a 1-year term expiring in 2003, Miriam Fernandez and Awilda Velez will serve three-year terms expiring in 2005 and Sarah Starbuck will serve a two-year term expiring in 2004. The membership is required to formally elect Marc, Miriam, Sarah and Awilda.
